California must continue to advance policies and programs that support the transition to a clean energy economy while simultaneously creating new opportunities for high paying jobs and prioritizing employment and support for workers in all sectors impacted by this transition. The economic fallout following the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the economy and resulted in workers demanding better pay and better labor standards.
