In 2022, California leaders passed a $54 billion multiyear climate budget, by far the most the state has ever committed to investing in climate.

Investments include clean transportation, building electrification, clean energy, and climate resilience. 

However, as the Governor and State Legislature negotiate the next year’s budget, some of these investments could be on the chopping block.
