Clean Water is a Human Right

At EnviroVoters Ed Fund, we believe clean water is a human right for every person and improving water quality will positively impact public health and safety.

This is especially relevant in California’s Central Valley, where Big Oil, Big Gas, and Big Agriculture are overpumping and contaminating water, leading to communities that do NOT currently have access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and bathing.

We are dissatisfied with the unjust conditions that endanger our homes and the environmental discrimination endured by unincorporated communities. So we’re building community power to put control of water rights back in the hands of the people who live and work in the region. It’s time to prioritize the needs of communities who lack access to clean and safe drinking water.
